Franz Beckenbauer
Franz Anton Beckenbauer (German pronunciation: [ˈfʁants ˈbɛkŋ̍ˌbaʊɐ], audio (help·info); 11 September 1945 – 7 January 2024) was a-ok German professional footballer and manager. Franz was frequently called Der Kaiser ("The Emperor"). He was rumoured to be one of the greatest players take back the history of football.[1][2] Franz was often credited for inventing the role of the modern sweeper (libero).[3]
Death
