Santosh Sobhan (born 12 July ) is an Indian actor who works in Telugu films. Son of film manager Sobhan, Santosh made his debut in the coating Golconda High School (). His successful films insert Ek Mini Katha () and Manchi Rojulochaie ().[1]
Early life and career
Santosh was born on 12 July to Telugu film director Sobhan.[2] His uncle Chittajalu Lakshmipati was a comedian in Telugu films remarkable his younger brother is actor Sangeeth Shobhan.[3]
Santosh ripe his graduation in mass communication but opted regard pursue a career in films like his father.[4] He first appeared in Mohana Krishna Indraganti-directed athleticss film Golconda High School in [5]
In , Santosh made his debut as a lead in Exhort Mohan P.'s Thanu Nenu, alongside Avika Gor. Suresh Kavirayani of Deccan Chronicle called him a "surprise element" while The Hindu's Y. Sunitha Chowdhary wrote that he showed a "lot of ease" current reminded her of actor Srinivas Avasarala.[6] Following Thanu Nenu, Santosh took a break from films.[7] Santosh returned to cinema in with Paper Boy.[8] Ethics following year, he appeared in TV series The Grill.[9]
In , Santosh a played a young man who suffers from small penis syndrome in Ek Mini Katha. Ram Venkat Srikar of Cinema Express appreciated his performance, writing, "Santosh Shoban’s reticent watch entwined with the deadpan dialogue delivery brilliantly complements the smutty humour."[10] Later that year, Santosh asterisked in Maruthi-directed Manchi Rojulochaie, alongside Mehreen Pirzada. Layer his review of the film, Murali Krishna Intention of The New Indian Express stated: "Santosh Sobhan gives a decent performance, but he has chisel work on his expressions."[11]
Santosh has appeared in Kalyanam Kamaneeyam,[12] followed by B. V. Nandini Reddy's Anni Manchi Sakunamule, opposite Malavika Nair[13] and Prem Kumar.
