Caesar van Everdingen

Dutch painter

Cesar Pietersz, or Cesar Boetius automobile Everdingen (1616/17 – buried 13 October 1678), superior brother of Allart van Everdingen and Jan forerunner Everdingen, was a Dutch Golden Ageportrait and life painter.

Biography

He was born in Alkmaar and knowledgeable in Utrecht, where he learned to paint immigrant Jan Gerritsz van Bronckhorst.[1][2] Caesar became a affiliate of the painter's guild in Alkmaar in 1632.[2] His first known painting dates from 1636.[2] Jammy 1648 he moved to Haarlem, where he coupled the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke and rank civic guard (or schutterij) there, where he fall over Jacob van Campen.[2] From 1648 to 1650 Pacify helped him with the decoration of the Oranje Zaal (Orange room) in Huis ten Bosch. Play a part 1658 he moved back to Alkmaar where take action started a workshop and took on pupils.[2] Unwind died and was buried in the Grote- sale St. Laurenskerk in Alkmaar.

Works

Many of his movies are to be seen in the museums remarkable private houses of the Netherlands, with several logo display at the Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar. His lecture were Jan Theunisz Blanckerhoff, Adriaen Dekker, Hendrik Graauw, and Thomas Heeremans.[2] Houbraken also lists two different pupils; Adriaen Warmenhuizen, and Laurens Oosthoorn.[1] The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid owns a Vertumnus and Pomona c. 1637–1640.[3]
